Wow! Another year down of teaching! Well, at least for my senior classes... Finals are in the process of being corrected, grades are being updated, and today, I saw the PHS class of 2014 sitting in the seats they will occupy during class day and graduation this year. My emotions are everywhere. There is love, worry, anxiousness, and even sometimes, a little bit of dislike in my classroom on a daily basis. It's funny, and it my sound "clicheish" but once a student steps foot in my class (either to visit or to be taught) they become part of me. I call them my kids, my cherubs, my pains in the buttocks, my reason for teaching, and why I go to work everyday with a smile on my face and my heart on my sleeve. My students have seen me cry, laugh, smile, scream and a couple of times even swear! It's funny because when I first started teaching I NEVER thought that so many emotions would be involved.
